How should I dress?
Layers are the key. It is much easier to take a jacket off than wish you had one on. For those of us that wear glasses, a hat with a brim helps in the rain. If you run cold, inexpensive gloves do wonders for your hands.
What can I do to eliminate stress on the animals?
Keep your voice quiet. Close the door to outside quietly. Turn off your flash. Those are a few of the things you can do.
What is the weather like?
I would suggest the link, www.wunderground.com We are a rainforest, and at some point there will be misty rain to drops of rain. The highest average is in July at the mid 60’s. On the water it will be cooler. That is not to say we won’t have a bluebird clear day too.
How do I protect my gear?
The boat has an enclosed cabin with storage, an overhanging roof, and 360 degree glass.
For outdoor protection, some cameras will only need a zip lock bag. Others may want to invest in plastic sleeves made for your camera. A hood over the lens is a great idea too.
Do you have food aboard?
We have hot and cold drinks, and snacks. If it is a full day we will provide lunch.
