Bears

It is rare to see brown bears standing on the shore line waiting for their picture to get taken, but it does happen. 
Only brown bears inhabit our area.

Early in the year, bears may be seen in bay estuaries eating early grasses.

Late in summer brown bear gorge themselves on spawning salmon.
You may see them along the streams. We try and keep aware of recent sightings.
